 "Bo"
recently rejoined our herd this fall from the generosity of Sandy
Myers and the Myers Creek herd who originally purchased Bo from us
as a young buckling back in 2001. During his time in their
herd, he finished his championship and sired numerous lovely
offspring, including CH Myers Creek Cat Willow who finished her
championship as a first freshening two year-old. Bo is a direct
descendent from one of our most recognized dam-lines. His dam, GCH
LakeShore Farms EX Antique Lace 2*M linear appraised EX90 for
three consecutive years and was 3rd place in her class at the 2001,
2003 and 2006 ADGA National Shows, while her littermate brother, +*B
Lakeshore Farms Doctor Luke, has been an influential sire in our
herd. Bo's littermate brother, *B Lakeshore Farms Allied Force,
recently linear appraised 7-02 EX92 (EEE) and has sired 3 daughters
in the Riverside Ranch herd that have appraised EX90 or
higher.
Bo
is a very tall and upstanding buck showing tremendous length of
body, levelness across his topline and a very wide, flat rump,
combined with beautiful breed character and long, bell-shaped ears.
We admire his strength of dairy character from his length of neck,
to his overall angularity and balance. Although he joined the herd
late in the fall of 2008, we are excited to have been able to use
him on a few does this fall for 2009 kids.
