Playboy is an impressive buck who is powerful with width, depth and spring of rib, combined with
smoothness of blending, height in the front end, strong
legs and good pasterns. Not only does he excel in length of body and levelness, but also in width across the loin and rump, with a correct rear leg
set. At his first show as a three year-old, Playboy was
1xGCH, 1xRGCH, 2x1st and 1x2nd.
His
first daughters freshened in the spring of 2011 and two
of them have already finished their championships as
first freshening two year-olds; GCH
LakeShore Mira's Easter Lily 6*M and CH
LakeShore Playboy Centerfold. Needless to say
we
are very pleased with the results! We are noticing
improvements in rear udder height and smoothness of
blending up into the escutcheon, fore udder extension,
roundness in shape when viewed from side profile,
strength of medials and teat size. Playboy's kids are
also correct in general appearance with strong toplines,
smoothness of blending through the shoulders, correct
rear leg set, width and strength throughout. We are also noticing
improvements in openness of ribbing, flatness of bone and angularity.
His
daughter, Easter Lily, is also the 2009 ADGA National Reserve Junior Champion and was 1st place Junior Kid. Additional daughters,
LakeShore DP Exotica
2-03 89 (VVEE) and LakeShore DP Exquisite, were both Junior Champion and Best Junior Doe-In-Show when shown in
2010, Wingwood Farm Playtime
Teasel recently linear appraised 1-05 VG88 (VVVV), LakeShore Hot To Trot was Best Udder-Of-Breed as a two
year-old milker, and LakeShore DP Mira Image has been
5x1st, 5xGCH, 1xBJDIS when shown as a dry yearling in
2011.
Playboy's
dam, SGCH J&R Spirit’s DK Kovergirl (EX92), is the 2009 ADGA Reserve National Champion with National Best Udder, and was also 1st pl. Milking Yearling in 2007.

Rocky
is a tall and long-legged yearling buck, with tremendous
upstandingness and smoothness of blending in the front
end with good strength of topline. He is also strong on
his feet and legs, with correct rear leg set and near
ideal angulation. We also admire his flatness of bone
and openness of ribbing, as well as his breed character.
We
used Rocky quite heavily in the fall of 2010, so will be
giving him a bit of a rest and only breeding him to a
few does this fall until we see his first daughters
freshen in the spring of 2012. One of his daughters,
LakeShore Sweet Syrah, already earned her dry leg being
1xJrCH, 1xRJrCh, 4x1st, and 1x2nd when shown in 2011.
Another daughter, LakeShore Victory
Lane, has been 2x1st
and 1x2nd.
His
sire, +*B Kismet Hero's User Friendly, has produced
numerous champion offspring and high placing National
Show does, in addition to siring the 2011 ADGA Reserve
National Champion, GCH Risin' Creek There She Is 1*M
5-00 91 (EEVE). His dam, SGCH Lakeshore Farms Tanqueray
5*M 3-03 EX91 (VVEE), has been both a strong
producer and consistent show doe for us, being 1st pl.
Intermediate Kid in 2004, 1st pl. Milking Yearling in
2005, and 2nd pl. Two Year-Old at the 2006 National
Show. She is also the dam of LakeShore Ace Risque
6*M,
the 2008 ADGA Reserve Junior Champion.

We
are very excited to be able to use Endeavor and are
grateful to Lynda Dowdy with Branicur Farms for
allowing us to lease him for part of the 2011
breeding season! After losing his sire, CH *B Lakeshore
Farms Bold Equasion 8-06 EX92 (EEE), in the spring of
2010 we had regretted not retaining a son for our herd,
but are thrilled that this son out of SG LakeShore
Exotic Storm 5*M, lives nearby.
Endeavor's
dam, Exotic Storm, is a direct descendent from one of
our strongest and most consistent dam lines, and she
herself is a promising up and coming doe in our herd. At
the 2009 National Show, Exotic was 6th place Milking
Yearling and in 2008 she was 5th place Intermediate Kid.
Her daughter, LakeShore DP Exotica, was Junior Champion
and Best In Show as a senior yearling and freshened this
past spring with a reported lovely mammary. Endeavor's
sire, CH *B Lakeshore Farms Bold Equasion (Bo), is a
descendent from our other most recognized dam lines and
his littermate sister, Lakeshore Farms Antigua 3*M, is
the dam of the 2011 ADGA Reserve National Best Udder,
GCH Blissberry F Aloha 4*M. With this strong family
line, it is no wonder that "Bo" is also
producing outstanding mammaries in his daughters with
strong medials, correct teat size and placement, high
and nicely arched rears with well extended and smoothly
blended fore udders.
We
have several exciting breedings planned for Endeavor
this fall and look forward to seeing his kids this
coming spring.

Perfect Storm is a very
large and powerful buck being upstanding in the front end with length of body,
levelness of topline and is smoothly blended throughout. Not only does he
descend from our of our strongest dam lines, but he is also a repeat breeding of
SGCH Lakeshore Farms Summer Storm 5*M (EX92), a doe whom we admire
greatly. His maternal granddam, SGCH Lakeshore Farms EX Sierra 3*M
(EX92), was 1st place Two Year-Old in 2001 and 1st place 5-6 Year-Old at the 2005 ADGA
National Show. His dam, SGCH Lakeshore Farms Sierra Storm 4*M
(EX90), was 1st place Four Year-Old at the 2004 ADGA National Show and his full sister,
SGCH Lakeshore Farms Summer Storm, is the 2004 ADGA Junior National Champion and
1st place Two Year-Old at the 2005 ADGA National Show. Other maternal sisters
include: GCH Lakeshore Farms Light'N Storm 5*M (EX91), SGCH Lakeshore
Justa Rainey Storm 5*M (VG89), SG Lakeshore Justa Autumn Storm 5*M,
SG Lakeshore Exotic Storm 5*M (VG89), and LakeShore
Simply Irresistible. His sire, +*B Lakeshore Farms
Doctor Luke (EX90), has been a phenomenal sire in our herd having sired
the 1st place Senior Get -Of-Sire at both the 2005 and 2008 ADGA National Shows.
We
haven't been able to use Perfect Storm as much as we
would have liked since he is so closely related to
several does in our herd. However, the daughters that we have from Perfect Storm have been amongst some of our
favorites. They are strong and correct in general appearance, with quite a bit
of strength, levelness and balance, combined with lovely breed character.
One of his daughters in our herd, AG Farms PS Lady
Gaga,
is an exciting yearling milker who has been 5x1st and
2x2nd when
shown in 2011.
At the
2009 ADGA National Show he sired both the 5th place Intermediate Kid and the 6th
place Junior Kid, and at the 2011 ADGA National Show he
sired the 4th place Junior Kid. One of his sons, *B Lakeshore PS Tropical Storm 1-05 91
(EEE), sired the 2nd place Junior Kid at the 2009 ADGA National Show.

We
are very excited to have been given the opportunity to
bring Jack back home to California this past summer,
after having resided in the Arch Acres herd for the past
five years. Thank you to Dessie Nix for providing such a
great home for him.
Jack
has not disappointed us yet! We are impressed with his
smoothness of blending throughout, flatness of bone,
openness of ribbing and pliability of skin. He is also
upstanding in the front end with good strength of back,
correct rear leg set and angulation, as well as standing
on very strong, short pasterns and good feet.
His
dam, GCH Lakeshore Farms Julie's Jaguar 3*M (EX92), is
the 2007 and 2008 ADGA Reserve National Champion and the
epitome of consistency and longevity. Although Jaguar
has not produced many daughters over the years, she has
produced several sons with many notable progeny. We expect
Jack to be an asset to our herd, as we have already been
impressed with the kids that he produced for us in
2011...we just wish that there had been more doelings!
Update:
Jack
developed a severe case of mastitis in one of his teats
this past summer, which we diligently treated, however
we were not able to save him. Luckily he had been
collected shortly after rejoining our herd, so we plan
to use him via AI.

we admired when I judged her as a first freshener. Full
Disclosure is also the sire of one of our favorite does,
SGCH LakeShore FD Summer Intrigue 6*M 1-07 VG89 (VEVE),
who finished her championship as a two year-old and was
5th place Milking Yearling at the 2009 National Show.

results.
We
would like to thank Sandy Myers of Myers Creek Nubians
for allowing us to lease Banner this fall. He has crossed very
well with their daughters from CH *B Lakeshore Farms

what he produces when used in our herd this fall.

is a stylish buck excelling in both strength of general
